CEPEC Optical Fibre Project - Phase 1
Yesterday, Chairman CEPEC Authority Gen. Asim Saleem Bajwa tweet a happy news about operationalization of CEPEC Optical Fibre Project - Phase I . Basically , the groundbreaking cermoney of this project was held on 19 May 2016 in City Gilgit. Historically, this line was first envisaged in 2009 and signed by Pak China Govt. in 2013 for its implementation . But its implementation didn't started by China till it not become a project under CEPEC. Then, China started work on it and it was completed and inagurated on July 2018 .This project connects Khunjerab to Islamabad / Rawalpindi comprises of 820 Km length. It'll bring a revolution in the field of IT and Education in Pakistan. Luckly, Imran Khan Govt. taking IT field seriously from the first day , even this Govt. posted a Minister of Science and techonolgy Mr. Fawad Choudary who is working sincerely .His latest invention of Ventilator ( Made in Pakistan) which is the first big victory of pakistan in the 70 years history. Pakistan now started journey on the road of science and techonolgy .
The Phase- II of this optical fibre project connect Islamabad to Karachi and Islamabad to Quetta and then to Gwadar . Its offical launching cremony is expected next few weeks. After its completion, pak will connect Balochistan , Gilgit and AJK ( Azad Kasmir) by internet due to which education will come in these areas and then development will occur in there. After that there will be no value of BLA and BRA that development not coming in Balochistan by Pakistan Government.
